Section 1 – Basics / General Play
- Stroke Play vs Match Play: Lowest score wins the hole. Penalties add strokes.
- Ball In Play: A stroke with intent counts. Accidental contact usually does not.
- Wrong Ball: Stop, correct, +2 strokes.
- Lost Ball: 3-minute search. Stroke & distance.
Section 2 – Teeing Area
- Tee within markers, up to two club-lengths back.
- Ball falling off tee: No penalty.
- Whiff counts as a stroke.
- Provisional must be declared.
Section 3 – Fairway & General Area
- Play it as it lies.
- Loose impediments may be removed.
- Embedded ball relief allowed.
- Free relief from cart paths.
Section 4 – Bunkers
- No grounding club before stroke.
- Loose impediments may be removed carefully.
- Unplayable ball options apply.
Section 5 – Penalty Areas
- Red and Yellow penalty area options.
- Relief incurs +1 stroke.
Section 6 – Out of Bounds
- Stroke & distance applies.
- Local rule may allow +2 stroke drop.
Section 7 – Putting Green
- Mark and lift allowed.
- Repair ball marks and spike marks.
- Flagstick may remain.
Section 8 – Relief / Interference
- Accidental movement usually no penalty.
- Free relief from abnormal conditions.
